Ron Wetter, President
Ron has been attending CCCM since 2003 and became a partner in May 2005. He is married to Lisa, and they have a daughter, Rachel. Ron became a Christian at the age of 12 in the midst of his parents' divorce as a local church reached out to him via a youth ministry. "I saw Jesus lived out in others so I committed my life to Him and was baptized followed by attending a Christian high school." Ron has served in the past as an usher, volunteer coordinator for service projects, a deacon, and an elder. He's currently serving as a life group leader and coach, co-facilitating the Financial Peace University classes, and as a team facilitator for the Kids Club at Randall Elementary school.
Albert L. Weitzel, Vice-President
Albert Weitzel and his wife Deborah have been partners at CCCM since 2016, and he has been actively involved in life groups as both a member and a leader, as well as participating in and occasionally teaching the men's bible study. Al has worked as an engineer in the space industry for over 35 years, at companies including Hughes Aircraft, Lockheed Martin, Space Systems Loral and Raytheon, where he is currently working as a Senior Principal Engineer & Product Team Lead. Al holds a BS in Aero/Astro Engineering from MIT and an MBA from Santa Clara University.
Bill Barnes, Secretary
Bill was elected to the FoC Board of Directors in 2021. A partner (member) of Christ Community Church of Milpitas since 1996, Bill has taught ESL at CCCM since 2000, been in various Life Groups, and has been a Deacon since 2019. With an MS in Electrical Engineering, Bill has held various engineering and management roles at Seagate, LED lighting startups, and is currently working at Tesla. Bill and Pamela, his wife for 24 years, live in Milpitas, and have 3 adult sons.
Mark Simmons, Treasurer
Mark has been Treasurer of the FoC board since 2007 and the Business Manager at Christ Community Church since 2006. He currently serves on 12 teams or committees at CCCM including: Communication, Finance, Leadership, Personnel, and Technology. He has served on several other non-profit boards, been an elder for over 30 years at various churches, a church officer for over 20 years, and Christian Education Director for 12 years. Mark was a high technology executive for over 20 years, most recently a general manager at Xerox Corporation. He received degrees in Business and Electrical Engineering. Mark and LaVonne, his wife of 43 years, have 2 daughters and 5 grandchildren.
Don Chin, Director
Don Chin is a Sr. Strategy and Planning Leader, with a successful track record of leading Engineering and Business Operations, driving department strategic priorities and best practices using Design Thinking and Agile methodologies in corporate and divisional activities, compliance, general management, governance, and effective internal communications. Highly skilled in organizing leadership teams for top performance, multi-project oversight, product portfolios, M&A support and organizational streamlining in fast-paced technology environments.
Don’s personal interests include: non-profit board membership, support of Women in Leadership, mountain biking, skiing, camping, music (singing), TV/Movies (member of Screen Actors Guild, SAG).
Lenny Triglia, Director
Lenny is a teacher by profession and former Life Group Director for CCCM. She and her husband Don have attended CCCM since 1998 and are members. They have a son and daughter who grew up at CCCM. Both adult children and a daughter-in-law live in the Bay Area. Lenny has enjoyed serving at CCCM in a variety of capacities, including VBS Director, Sunday School Teacher, Life Group Leader, youth volunteer and in Women’s Ministry. She currently serves as a Session Elder for CCCM. Lenny re-joined the FOC Board in 2021, having previously served as a director and officer.
